Queen Rania of Jordan is celebrating her 52nd birthday this week. To mark the day, The Royal court has released a series of gorgeous pictures. 

 

 

 Releasing the first set of pictures earlier this month, Queen Rania's office said, "marking another year spent in the service of Jordan’s people in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s national vision. True to this vision, Her Majesty has launched several initiatives in support of Jordan’s education and development sectors."

Born on August 31st in 1970 in Kuwait, Rania has a business degree. Rania had to leave her country with her family in 1991 due to the Gulf War. She worked with Citibank and Apple in Jordan. She was introduced to Prince Abdullah by his sister who was also Rania's friend.

 Rania and Prince Abdullah married in 1993 and the couple had four children - Prince Hussein who recently got engaged to Rajwa Al Saif, Princess Iman  also engaged to be married to Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, Princess Salma Prince Hashem. The Palace released a picture of Rania with her children, Rajwa and Jameel.

King Abdullah ascended to the Jordanian throne in 1999 and proclaimed Rania his Queen. Since joining the Royal Family, Queen Rania has been working for various public causes i.e. education, health, sports and representing Jordan on different international platforms.

The spokesperson continued, "Through programs led by the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) and the Queen Rania Foundation (QRF), Her Majesty aims to empower youth and encourage them to unleash their potential, often paying visits to learn about their projects and offer support to help propel their ambitions. As an impassioned champion of education, Her Majesty has launched various initiatives that work alongside Jordanian civil society organizations to support national efforts to reform and enhance education. These initiatives are continuously working to create programs targeting children and families, as well as other skill building and training programs intended to support potential entrepreneurs.

Rania is also member of Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge's brilliant imitative The Earthshot Prize.  As always in the pictures shared by the The Royal court and Queen Rania's Office are style mines.

Yesterday, Queen Rania met with UNICEF’s First Refugee Goodwill Ambassador Muzoon Almellehan in Amman.  They talked about Muzoon's  role as an advocate for girls’ education and a supporter of refugee children and Rania thanked her for taking up the role. 

 

For the day, Queen Rania was wearing  a Celine Safari Dress in lightweight Gabardine beige Safari Dress with Dior D-Moi Woven Laminated Pumps.

On Monday, Queen Rania visited the governorate of Madaba where she met with the founder and youth members of Shabab42 Foundation to discuss their efforts and work in youth empowerment. Shabab42 Foundation is a non-profit civil society organization that aims to encourage active citizenship and communicate the principles of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law using various social development approaches and tools. 

 

 

For the day, Queen Rania was wearing Midnight blue Sachin and Babi Mari Dress.
