Today, Queen Elizabeth II marked the Commonwealth Day 2021 with her annual Commonwealth Day message. In her message, Her Majesty talked about the importance of “friendship” and the “spirit of unity” during “testing times”. The Queen hails the frontline Workers who have been working hard since the beginning of the pandemic and paid tribute to the way in which communities across the family of nations have come together in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

In the pictures released today from Windsor Castle, Her Majesty was wearing her Sapphire Chrysanthemum brooch that she also wore in the official pictures from her honeymoon with Prince Philip. It was such a sweet gesture that while The Queen is going on with her Royal duties she is still missing her husband.

I wish The Iron Duke a speedy recovery who will be making a century in the June this year .
