Crown Princess Mary of Denmark opened Denmark's largest digital fair and festival for sustainable products "Fair Festival" at Aarhus City Hall.⁣ The Fair Festival association, which collaborates with the company Globe Go Green to spread sustainable messages and sustainable consumption, has been organized since 2019. This year, Fair Festival focuses on the UN's world goal 12 on responsible consumption and production and world goal 17 on partnership for action.⁣

At the opening, the Crown Princess gave a speech, just as the mayor of Aarhus Municipality Jacob Bundsgaard, councilor for Culture and Citizen Services in Aarhus Municipality Rabih Azad-Ahmad and CEO of Globe Go Green and founder of the Association Fair Festival Kristine Overgaard Nielsen spoke to the festival participants.

In the coming days, the participates can explore showrooms and shops and meet companies that work purposefully with sustainability via video link. In addition, digital lectures are given on, among other things, sustainable fashion and furniture production, as well as the food of the future and the UN's world goals.⁣

In the last decade we have seen The Duchess in many dazzling and sparkling Royal jewels that Her Majesty The Queen gifted her or gave her on loan. Her Majesty gave Prince William's bridge Cartier Halo Tiara that was gifted to Queen Elizabeth I by King George VI (Queen Elizabeth II's parents) on their wedding anniversary. The Queen herself was never seen wearing the tiara but her sister Princess Margaret wore the tiara at 1953 coronation. The tiara was also Princess Anne's go to tiara in her early years.
