Today, The Prince of Wales, Charles, and The Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, visited Skipton House in London to hear from the NHS staff and Military personnel who are working hard to make the nation-wide vaccine roll-out a success. The Royal couple thanked the staff for their hard work. The NHS England and Public Health England based at the Skipton House is managing the vaccination process in the UK with assistance from Ministry of Defence.

Last month, The Prince and The Duchess wrote to some of their affiliated military units, who have assisted with the vaccination programme. Today Their Royal Highnesses had the opportunity to thank members of the military and the NHS in person for all their hard work.

During the visit, Charles and Camilla met with the staff and heard about the roll-out process. The Prince told the staff, “The fact that you have basically, I suspect, spent seven days a week permanently on this particular battle against this virus is a truly remarkable tribute to the effectiveness of the NHS”.
